Who Knows is a genre-blending collective led by producer and guitarist Ameya Deshpande. Drawing inspiration from artists like Yussef Dayes, Tom Misch, and the new wave of chill groove-heavy jazz, the group brings a fresh, atmospheric sound that's equal parts laid-back and musically sophisticated.
Set to release their self-titled debut EP on June 14, Who Knows showcases a tight ensemble of local Philly-based musicians: Daniel Wilfred (drums), Joab Alexander (keys), Miguel Cid (bass), and Chet Williams (saxophone), with guest solos by guitarist Dave Thaker. Together, the group delivers smooth, improvisation-forward sets that balance jazz sensibility with a contemporary edge.
