Who Knows is a genre-blending collective led by Philadelphia-based guitarist and producer Ameya Deshpande. Rooted in jazz and inspired by neo-soul, instrumental hip-hop, and the UK jazz movement, the group creates groove-driven music with warm textures, rich harmony, and spontaneous improvisation. If you love deep rhythms, cinematic soundscapes, and modern jazz energy, you’re in the right place.
Drawing inspiration from acts like Yussef Dayes, Athletic Progression, Moses Yoofee Trio and Tom Misch, Who Knows brings together raw, in-the-moment interplay and modern, studio-ready production. The ensemble features Rob Tait (drums), Joab Alexander (keys), Miguel Cid (bass), and Chet Williams (sax), with guest appearances including guitarist Dave Thaker, Taylor Kelly and Joshua Peeler in their recorded work.
Recently featured on Philly's local radio station, WXPN, the group is building a reputation for immersive, groove-heavy live sets that resonate with fans of jazz, neo-soul, and forward-thinking instrumental music.
